NOEGGERATH, Emil Oscar Jacob Bruno (1827 – 1895)

Noeggerath, who devised the operation of epicystotomy, spent many years in America, where he became a leading gynecologist and obstetrician.

Noeggerath was the first to point out the late effects of gonorrhoea in women, particularly its role in the production of sterility.
